PT Blend Series

Combining Passive and Tactical Approaches to Pursue Stronger Outcomes

PT Blend Series

To achieve diversification, advisors may rely on separate bond and stock strategies or traditional model portfolios.

We believe it's time for a different approach: the PT Blend Series.

  • Each PT Blend strategy combines passive equity funds with tactically managed fixed income funds.
  • We believe blending investment styles and diversifying across asset classes enhances diversification, improving risk and return characteristics.

Ocean Park PT Blend Series target allocations are subject to change and are rebalanced quarterly. Investors should review suitability with a financial professional before selecting any Ocean park model for investing.

Tactically Managed Fixed Income

The fixed income allocation consists of tactically managed funds, which use a consistent, rules-based process. The funds seek to participate opportunistically in global investment uptrends while seeking to mitigate downside risk.

Our investment approach is:

  • Index agnostic
  • Widely diversified across:
  • Treasury bonds
  • Investment grade corporate and municipal bonds
  • High yield corporate and municipal bonds
  • Mortgage-backed securities
  • International bonds
  • Emerging market bonds
  • Convertible bonds
  • Preferred securities
  • Bank loans

Passively Managed, Globally Diversified Equity

The equity portion of the PT Blend Series invests in passive, low-cost index funds. The equity funds deliver global diversification by seeking opportunities across both domestic and international stocks.

Diversification and asset allocation do not ensure a profit or guarantee against loss.

Our aim is to grow client wealth by seeking to:

1

Participate opportunistically in global investment uptrends.

2

Use a tactical discipline to help limit downside risk.

3

Enhance diversification through blending passive and tactical investment styles.

Investment Objective & Strategy

The PT Blend Series (“Series”) has two objectives, to provide total return and to limit exposure to downside fixed income risk.

The Series offers diversified multi-asset portfolios designed for investors with varying risk profiles.

The Series seeks to use low-cost index funds to provide global equity diversification. The Series seeks to use tactically managed fixed income funds to opportunistically participate in global uptrends, while aiming to limit exposure to downside global fixed income risk. The tactically managed fixed income funds can hold cash equivalents and/or short-term bond funds in the absence of fixed income uptrends.

As of November 1, 2025, the Global Balanced Portfolio Series was renamed PT Blend Series.
