“The statement is shorter and more concise than what we were used to in a lot of ways,” said James St. Aubin, Chief Investment Officer at Ocean Park Asset Management. “Warsh has been pretty forward about his communication style and how he wants to deliver less forward guidance. And that’s exactly what we got out of that statement in trying to let the market figure out what the Fed is thinking rather than the Fed telling the market what it is thinking.”
